What I offer
-
One to one guidance meetings to help young people from Year 9 upwards to explore their options and consider their pathways and choices to make the most appropriate and best decisions for them moving forwards. Whether it’s a single guidance meeting or ongoing support, we will work at the young person’s pace, appropriate to their needs and requirements.
-
From understanding the breadth of relevant courses and choosing five appropriate and aspirational universities to writing compelling personal statements and understanding the importance of evidencing their intellectual curiosity within them, completing a comprehensive UCAS application and preparing for interviews and assessments. I offer a full support programme tailored to the young person’s requirements and at a suitable pace, be that in one or more sessions.
-
Tailored preparation for applications to Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine, to ensure the most competitive compelling applications. This includes how to ensure a personal statement has the leading edge with a enhanced demonstration of their intellectual curiosity, admissions tests readiness (and with regards to Medicine & Dentistry, consequent strategic Med School applications according to UCAT scores) and interview preparation and practice.
-
Exploring and understanding apprenticeship routes and roles and devising a plan alongside other educational commitments, supporting initial applications and preparing for group assessment centres, recorded video interviews and in person interviews in what is a highly competitive field.
-
Practical, confidence-building preparation for Sixth Form, College, unviersity, apprenticeship and job interviews - tailored to the specific application and requirements.
